Whiskers for Illustration Friday

As soon as I saw this week’s Illustration Friday topic, I knew I had to do something related to facial hair, especially with Movember coming to a close shortly.

Here is my illustration, inspired by Bill Mitchell, who was once 3rd place winner of the sideburns/muttonchops category of the World Beard and Moustache Championships. Wherever you are Bill, I hope you’re still rocking these magnificent whiskers!

Burst for Illustration Friday
I like to imagine flowers in spring time that literally burst into life – shooting colour and light as they go.
I’m also really enjoying the autumn as it starts here too. There’s no real change in leaves and foliage yet, but a nip in the air none the less! Hats and mittens, here I come!

This tree is a tall tree. I took this opportunity to doodle some of my favourite things – woodland type plants and creatures. It may be sad to say, but I’m looking forward to the first signs of autumn!
