Whilst watching the gogglebox the other night I found my inspiration for ‘blur’, coming from the technique that fish use (sardines I think) to avoid impending death as a seals dinner by creating a swarming effect. This confuses the seals and instead of being spoilt for choice (there were literally thousands of fish) they got bored and swam off to eat something else. Genius!

I’ve seen footage like this on the Discovery channel and its truly amazing how a cluster of fish can simultaneously maneuver in different directions in a split second…which could mean life or death. You really captured this in an interesting composition! Nice work.
